Fundraising drive for park

A FUNDING drive has been launched to enhance the Memorial Park in Loanhead.

Some money has already been secured from the development at Straiton Retail Park.

Councillor Owen Thompson told Loanhead community chiefs a clause had been added to a number of recent building proposals to ensure community benefits were received.

He said: "I made sure they were included for the Straiton extension and the other supermarket."
