Fundraisers float charity idea ahead of great walk

A TEAM of fundraisers are taking to the skies in order to raise money to support some of the UK's most isolated communities.

The Caledonian Challenge is to walk 54 miles in just 24 hours in aid of the Scottish Community Foundation.

The challenge, The Walk of Your Life, will take place in June, but one team is making a head start by hosting a fundraiser called Great Scot! A Balloon Debate on 14 April at the Lodge of Edinburgh, in Hill Street.
