Fun at sweet shop for Children in Need

A CONFECTIONERY store is set to hold a charity event featuring a live band to help raise money for this year's Children In Need.

The fundraiser is set to take place in the Thorntons outlet at the Fort Kinnaird shopping complex, with music by the Centrepoint Church band.

Face painting will be available for children at the event while youngsters will also have the chance to have their photograph taken with the charity's mascot, Pudsey Bear.

A store spokeswoman said: "We'll be trying to raise as much money as possible for Children in Need so we hope people will come along to enjoy the day."

The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 13.
