Fuel poverty drive begins

A NEW drive aimed at ending fuel poverty has been launched in West Lothian.

West Lothian Council's Advice Shop is urging anyone who has had to choose between food and warmth this winter to contact them immediately for help.

The Advice Shop's trained staff provide advice from their base in Bathgate's Waverley Industrial Estate.

Executive councillor for social policy Isobel Hutton said: "We would encourage anyone feeling the credit crunch to come and see us."
