Fruitful event planned for the green-fingered

GARDENERS who want to grow their own food can pick up tips at a sustainable domestic garden at this year's Royal Highland Show.

The garden includes a plot with fruit and veg grown in raised beds, along with demonstrations of wormeries, green roofs and eco-friendly dividing structures. There will also be advice on attracting wildlife by planting wild flowers, leaving grass uncut and creating small ponds.

The garden is at the western end of the showground and runs from 24 to 27 June.
