Fringe stars' outdoor show is all set to go with a swing

THEATRE-goers will be treated to a special outdoor performance by an award- winning troupe in West Lothian on Wednesday.

Fringe First winners Grid Iron will take to the swings at Livingston's Howden Park to perform the free show Decky Does a Bronco.

The players tell the coming-of-age story of Decky and his teenage pals, who spend their days trying to perform the dangerous move of "bronco-ing" the swings.

Written by Douglas Maxwell, the story is a powerful tale of loss of innocence among a bored group of teens over one Scottish summer in 1983.

The cast of trained acrobats first performed the show at the Fringe ten years ago, and it received rave reviews for its originality.
