Fringe stars in rape drive

PERFORMERS at this year's Fringe have joined up with a city charity to condemn rape.

Rape Crisis Scotland's Not Ever campaign has been endorsed during shows by a host of well-known comedians.

Among the backers are Andi Osho, Shazia Mirza and Claudia Winkleman.

And most recently Scot Janey Godley linked up with the organisation.

She said: "There isn't a woman alive who drank, dressed or flirted her way into an attack. Rape is about power and women deserve that power to speak out."
