France expels 100 Roma in crackdown

About 100 gypsies, or Roma, were put on a charter flight from Paris to Romania yesterday, the second day in a row France has expelled Roma in a much criticised crackdown.

President Nicolas Sarkozy announced the measure last month as part of a "war" on delinquency.
