France and Denmark hit by food scare

France and Denmark became the latest countries drawn into Germany's dioxin food scare, after an EU official said yesterday that tainted animal feed had been exported from Germany to both countries.

The alert surrounds the discovery that tainted feed had been fed to hens and pigs.
