Four men have been charged after police recovered heroin and cannabis worth £152,000.

It follows a specialist police operation on Thursday, when officers searched a property in Beauly Avenue, Dundee.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “As part of Operation Slate, Tayside division’s ongoing intelligence-led initiative to target drug related crime across the region, Police Scotland can confirm that four men aged 33, 39, 46 and 40 have been charged in connection with drugs offences.

“Officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit executed a warrant at an address in Beauly Avenue, Dundee on Thursday and £152,000 worth of heroin and cannabis resin were recovered.”

The four men are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
