Fountainbridge photographers get chance to snap up cash prize

BUDDING photographers are being offered the chance to snap up a £500 cash prize as part of a new competition to capture distinct images of the historic Fountainbridge area of the city.

The Fountainbridge Comes Alive competition has been organised by Springside, Edinburgh's new city centre residential neighbourhood.

Photographers have been challenged to capture distinct images which encapsulate the industrial past and the exciting, future of Fountainbridge.

Robin Blacklock, senior development manager at Springside, said: "With a panel of judges, including some of Scotland's top professional photographers, this competition offers Edinburgh photography fanatics the chance to have their work recognised, while scooping a 500 prize"
