Forth shows make waves with listeners

CITY radio station Forth One has recorded its best listening figures for a decade.

The Edinburgh station reached an average of 326,000 listeners in the first three months of this year.

Boogie in the Morning remains the most listened to breakfast show in the area, with 251,000 listeners, while Grant Stott added 22,000 more listeners in the last three months.

Drivetime presenter Iain Waugh also achieved the biggest audience for the after-work slot, and increased its audience by 9,000. The latest Rajar figures also show that Forth One has 67,000 more listeners than Real Radio. Forth Two also added an extra 10,000, taking it to 88,000.
