Former airport boss says emotional farewell to tragic daughter

THE former managing director of Edinburgh Airport said an emotional goodbye to his "fantastic" 17-year-old daughter who died three months after a road accident in Bahrain.

Gordon Dewar spoke at her funeral yesterday and told the congregation about some happy memories he had shared with Olivia, who had "bags of kindness".

Olivia was critically injured when she was hit by a car in the village of Saar on December 14 last year.
