Forest hosts Taiwan fest

THE Edinburgh Taiwan Film and Culture Festival is being held at the city's Forest Cafe today, featuring award-winning films and lessons in the complex language.

The free all-day event, which runs from lunchtime until 10.30pm, features Au Revoir Taipei, a romantic comedy which won the Edinburgh International Film Festival's "Best of the Fest" award in 2010.

The Forest Cafe, which faces closure since its landlords went bust, is using the event to highlight its campaign to buy its Grade B-listed home.
