Foreigners blamed for rise in TB cases

THE government yesterday blamed foreigners for a rise in tuberculosis (TB) in Britain.

Junior health minister Anne Milton told MPs officials screening immigrants sometimes failed to pick up symptoms. She said there was "no doubt" this is a complex problem.
