Foil firm jobs under threat

JOBS have been put at risk after a company which makes decorative foils for packaging opened talks on a proposed “reorganisation”.

Livingston-based API Foils said it was looking to avoid compulsory redundancies, but wouldn’t say how many roles were under threat.

Will Oldham, managing director of API Foils Europe, said: “The proposed changes would result in the number of roles reducing and a consultation process has commenced.”
