Flats plan in office block makeover

AN office block in the Capital is to be part-converted into flats.

Property development firm The Chris Stewart Group has bought 14,000 square feet office Atholl House, in Canning Street, from previous owner Joint Properties.

It intends to redevelop the building to create new residential and commercial accommodation.

When the development is completed, the building will include an office suite and ten loft-style apartments.

Andrew Craig, of the Chris Stewart Group, said: "We will be developing the premises with a view to being complete later this year.

"The development will provide ten high-quality loft-style apartments ideally located in the centre of town close to numerous amenities to include bars, restaurants, shopping etc."

The one and two-bedroom apartments will start from 165,000.
