Flasher hunt is launched by officers

POLICE are hunting a man who indecently exposed himself to a woman in Penicuik.

The incident happened in the Deanburn area some time between 7.15am and 7.30am on Sunday.

A 19-year-old woman was walking between Deanburn and Royal Court when she noticed a man jogging on the other side of the road behind the bushes and trees.

As the woman approached the entrance to Rullion Green, the same man was standing on the footpath exposing himself in front of her.

The victim fled and returned home before contacting police.

Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area.

The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 7in tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a light grey, long-sleeved hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
