First sponsor for Glasgow 2014

The first sponsor of the 2014 Commonwealth Games has been unveiled.

Harper Macleod will be official law firm for the event and will provide services including legal support on commercial contracts, sponsorship, broadcasting, anti-doping and licensing.

The sponsorship was unveiled by Glasgow 2014 chairman Lord Smith and chief executive David Grevemberg at Hampden Park, which will host the athletics events and closing ceremony.

Lord Smith said: “We are really pleased to be in the position of appointing tier-two sponsors just under three years out from the Games.”
