First profile of Scottish charities placed online

THE first profile of the Scottish charity sector has been published.

Scottish charity regulator OSCR has also published a definitive online list of 18,000 active Scottish charities.

For the first time, OSCR is providing searchable information about charities, including details of each one's charitable purposes, income, beneficiaries and location.
