First-footer headbutted ex-girlfriend

A FIRST-footer headbutted his host before throwing her to the floor.

William Robertson attacked ex-girlfriend Sandra McBurnie at 7.30am on January 1.

Robertson, 44, of Bo’ness, West Lothian, earlier pleaded guilty to the assault and yesterday at Livingston Sheriff Court was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.

Alan Jackson, defending, said his client was now “shocked and upset” at his actions.
