Fire crews race to deal with wildfire in Clydebank which is 'visible across Glasgow'
Scottish Fire and Rescue is battling with a huge wildfire in Clydebank - the smoke from which could be seen from across many parts of Glasgow.
Posting on Twitter, the SFRS said it had dispatched three appliances to deal with the wildfire near Cochno Road after they received the first call at 6.41pm.
Firefighters are still working to control the blaze, which could be seen racing across a wide area of the Kilpatrick Hills.
Huge plumes of smoke were spotted drifting towards Erskine and the Clyde.
