Fire alert at primary

Parents were called to Woodburn Primary School in Dalkeith to pick their children up after a smell of burning was detected in the library and several classrooms.

Fire crews were called out just after 8.30am yesterday and identified an electrical fault and the school was closed for safety reasons. It was re-opening today after safety tests.
