Fins looking up for shark

A TWO-metre sand tiger shark which outgrew its home in an Irish aquarium has arrived safely at Deep Sea World in North Queensferry following an epic 1000km journey.

The male shark, which weighs around 100kg, travelled from the south-west of Ireland to reach its new home in 18 hours.

The shark was placed in a quarantine tank, where it will stay for up to a fortnight before moving to Deep Sea World's Underwater Safari display.
