Fine Gael gives budget warning

Ireland's main opposition party will not back the government's budget for 2011 if the coalition's slim majority fails to pass it in a parliamentary vote next month, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said yesterday.

"This government has no credibility left and somebody needs a new mandate," he told the TV station RTE.
