Fewer looking to plan ahead

THE number of planning applications submitted in Edinburgh has fallen for the first time in 13 months.

In the rolling three-month period to the end of November 2010, there were 1151 planning applications submitted, which was down 0.8 per cent on November 2009.

The number of building warrants issued also fell, by 3.4 per cent on last year's figure.
