Festival helpers wanted

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help run this year’s Leith Festival.

The annual extravaganza, which dates back to 1907, starts on June 8, culminating in the Leith Tattoo on June 16.

Organiser Tony Delicata said he hoped this year would be “bigger and better than ever”.

He said: “Currently it’s a one-man show so I’m after volunteers to help with the pre-planning of the festival.Then we will need people for the duration of the festival.” E-mail [email protected] for information.
