Fathers have to make do with a card

FAMILIES are nearly twice as likely to mark Father's Day this weekend with a card than by spending time together, according to a survey.

Most people planning to celebrate Father's Day will do so by sending a card – 63 per cent – but only 32 per cent said they would visit family members or have family come to their place to mark the occasion, the Church of England survey said.
