Father faces trial over death of baby

A MAN is to stand trial charged with the murder of his four-month-old baby daughter.

Craig Jamieson, 32, is alleged to have killed daughter Abbie at his then flat in Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road, Scotstoun, on 8 February, 2008.

It is alleged he inflicted blunt force trauma to her head and body, leaving the girl so severely injured that she died at Glasgow’s Yorkhill Hospital.
