Fatal stabbing in park
POLICE launched a murder inquiry yesterday after a man was stabbed in a park.
Andrew Curran, 41, was knifed in Maryhill Park in Glasgow on Friday evening.He was taken to the Western Infirmary but later died.
Strathclyde Police said a 50-year-old man was also injured in the attack at around 9:30pm.

Hide AdHe was being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where doctors described his condition as stable. He lives at Craigbo Court, a short distance from the park, which is situated off Maryhill Road.
Detective Inspector Alan Hunter appealed for information.
