Farmer plants seeds of hope

Sir Tom Farmer was pointing the way forward for youngsters in the Capital when he officially opened the Citadel Youth Centre's New Directions careers fair yesterday.

The entrepreneur and Hibs owner was also sharing his experience and advice to encourage young people to be optimistic and ambitious as they prepare to leave school later this year.

The event was attended by S4 pupils from the Capital's Leith Academy, Trinity Academy and Drummond Community High School.
