Fan plays it by the book

a FOOTBALL fan is donate profits from his new book to the charity Scottish War Blinded.

Duncan Whitelaw, of East Calder in West Lothian, wrote It’s Off To the Match I Go to relate his experiences as a Rangers fan. He said: “I tried to write it in a way that other football fans can relate to, we might wear different football shirts but we are all the same people”

He plans to donate 20 per cent of his profits to Scottish War Blinded.

Deputy manager of the charity’s Linburn Centre, Sheila Mutch, said “It’s great that someone in the local area is helping to support us, Duncan has put a lot of hard work into writing his book, we really appreciate it”.
