Hide AdDarci was diagnosed shortly after the family left Kirkcaldy to live in Saudi Arabia, and the funding bid had strong support in the Fife area.
However, after the heartbreaking news that she had passed away on Friday evening, her family paid tribute.
It is understood that the family intend to return to Scotland to lay Darci to rest.
Posting on the Darci’s Journey With Leukaemia page on Saturday, her family said: “It is with utter devastation that we have to announce that our beautiful baby daughter Darci passed away last night, may her wings fly with the angels.
“Our lives are shattered, we are utterly devastated and no words can explain how we feel right now.
“We have a massive hole in our hearts and we have no idea how we are going to cope with the pain that we are suffering, it’s our cross to bear, with the knowledge that our beautiful baby girl is no longer suffering.
“Everyone who knew her will tell you how she was such a caring, feisty, brave, courageous strong willed and fun loving little girl.
“She will always be our superhero. She was our world with her brother and sister and made an impact on so many others in her 6 short years in this world. We miss her so much and love her more than words can say.

“As parents watch her battle for her life was torture, in the end she could no longer take the pain, she had suffered enough, more than any child ever should.
“We are so devastated to lose her but know she is no longer suffering from the horrible disease.
“We really thought she was going to battle through this relapse like she always had, she would have been super proud at the outstanding support and funds raised over the last couple of days but it was not to be, thank you from the bottom of our hearts who donated, it will be refunded.
“We will be returning to Scotland as soon as we can to lay her to rest and bring her back to where she belongs.
“Our hearts are broken, Amanda, Graeme, Daniel and Sienna.”
