Family gives beach vital makeover

The family joined the The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project at Belhaven, Dunbar.

Barefoot Wine is working with Surfers Against Sewage this summer to help keep Britain's beaches "barefoot friendly" and volunteers at Belhaven joined those at dozens of other beaches across the UK taking opart in the scheme.

To date thousands of volunteers have helped Barefoot Wine and SAS clear tonnes of litter from beaches and organisers say 2011 is the project's biggest ever year.
