Family fun day to raise funds

PONY rides, a bouncy castle and a ladies’ football tournament are among the activities being offered at a fundraising family fun day later this month.

The event, being held at Newtongrange Star Football Club, aims to boost the coffers of Footprints Scotland – a new support service for sufferers of sexual and physical abuse in Midlothian – launched by Da Vinci rapist protesters.

The fun day will kick off at noon on September 30 at the Dalhousie Road venue.
