Family fete for fair trade

LORD Provost Donald Wilson will bring down the curtain on Fairtrade Fortnight by presenting a series of awards at a fete in Leith.

The Edinburgh Fair Trade Family Fete and Bruncheon will boast live music, sculpture-making and a range of stalls. The fun starts at 10.30am in the Out of the Blue Drill Hall.

Lord Provost Donald Wilson said: “The packed programme of events we’ve been enjoying over the past two weeks is testament to just how far Fairtrade Fortnight has come in Edinburgh since we were awarded Fairtrade status in 2004.”
