Family celebrates £6.7m lottery win

A LOTTERY winner whose family syndicate scooped £6.7 million said yesterday that the windfall was a massive comfort in troubled economic times.

Speaking at a hotel in Doncaster, Mark Holmes, 28, his brother Ian, 32, and his father Les, 58, celebrated having one of two winning tickets for Saturday's Lotto double roll-over jackpot.
