Falkirk boss Steven Pressley fined for using phone while driving

FALKIRK manager Steven Pressley has been fined £105 and had three penalty points added to his licence for using a hands-held mobile phone while driving his car.

The 36-year-old Scottish Premier League manager, who lives in the Cramond area of Edinburgh, pleaded guilty to the offence by letter at the city's JP Court today.

Fiscal Depute, Trevor Smith, said Pressley's car had been stopped at about 2.30pm on 16 September last year in Queensferry Road South after he was seen using his mobile.

Pressley, who played for Hearts, Rangers, Celtic, Dundee United and Scotland, and succeeded Eddie May as manager of The Bairns, was given 28 days to pay the fine.
