Facebook appeal as fears grow over missing club manager

CONCERN is growing for a nightclub manager from Edinburgh who has been missing from home since last Wednesday.

Martin Gordon, 33, known as "Tartan", has not been seen since he left his home in West Port to go to work in Cabaret Voltaire in Blair Street.

A Facebook group set up by his flatmate now has more than 12,000 members – with people from all over the world joining the appeal to help find him.

Richard Duff, a friend of Martin for ten years and creator of the group 'Martin Gordon is Missing please pass this on' said: "All his friends and family want is to know where he is."

The quietly spoken nightclub manager with a west coast accent had many friends in the capital but has not been in touch with any of them and his phone has been switched off.

Cabaret Voltaire co-owner Sarah David said: "We've got staff and former staff across the world trying to find out what has happened. It's so out of character for him to disappear like this."
