Extra tickets for fireworks go on sale

HUNDREDS of extra tickets for this year's Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert have gone on sale.

Bank of Scotland donated 500 tickets for event to its charity of the year, British Heart Foundation.

Around 300 sold out within hours last month and a further 200 highly-coveted tickets to see the concert from the Ross Theatre, widely seen as the best view, are now on sale.

Celine Gomez, head of corporate account management at the British Heart Foundation, said: "We are thrilled to have the support of all Lloyds Banking Group employees. Their continued support and fundraising efforts will play an important role in helping to place more BHF Heart Health Professionals in to local communities across the UK."

The Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert, performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, is the grand finale to the Edinburgh International Festival and is being held on Sunday, September 5 at 9pm in Princes Street Gardens.
