Exotic fish stolen from Aberdeenshire pond

POLICE have appealed for information after fish valued at over £1,000 were stolen from a pond in an Aberdeenshire village.

The exotic fish, which included a number of Koi Carp, were stolen from a pond at an address in Mintlaw between 4pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after a quantity of fish worth a low four-figure sum of money were stolen from an address in Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire.The fish stolen included Koi Carp.

“Police have requested that any person with information contact their nearest Police Office, or telephone 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
