Exhibition set to light up Capital

DARREN COX and Julie Orford put the finishing touches to a scale model of a lighthouse lens set to go in display in the Capital.

The lens is part of the National Museum of Scotland's exhibition Shining Lights: The Story of Scotland's Lighthouses, which opens in October.

The exhibition tells the story of the people who designed, built and operated lighthouses.

A full-sized version of the lens was made for the Ardnamurchan lighthouse.
