Ex-colonel flies flag for Saltire

A FORMER lieutenant colonel has backed calls for the Saltire to be flown above the Union flag at Edinburgh Castle.

Stuart Crawford, who directed the Army's corporate communications in Scotland, said a study showed recruitment ads which used the Union Flag were "counterproductive".
