Ewing praises new fire system

A NEW communications system being used by Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service called Firelink has been praised by Fergus Ewing MSP, the Minister for Community Safety.

During a visit to the control room yesterday, Mr Ewing said: The service now has the most advanced communication system in the UK."
