Rescued seal pups released

FIVE seal pups saved after becoming separated from their mothers have been released back into the wild.

The common seal pups Harry, Scoot, Peewee, Lumpy and Lulu were rescued from different locations around the north of Scotland.

They were underweight, having been unable to feed themselves at such a young age, and were suffering various ailments when found.

All five were cared for at the British Divers Marine Life Rescue Highland Seal Hospital in Scarfskerry, Caithness, before their release at Evanton in Ross-shire with the help of the Scottish SPCA.
