New perch for eagle watch
The Mull Eagle Watch has moved to Glen Seilisdeir forest to allow the public to follow the breeding season of a male eagle known as Fingal and mate Iona.
Previously it has been based at Loch Frisa, where visitors got to watch a pair known as Skye and Frisa. Dave Sexton, RSPB Mull Officer, said: “While Skye and Frisa hopefully get to enjoy some well-earned time off with the family, we thought it would be a great opportunity to find out more about the other white-tailed eagles on Mull.”
Sea eagles were reintroduced to Scotland, and are the largest raptors with a wingspan of up to 8ft.
