Each year around this time the Forth is often used by humpback whales as a feeding ground as they prepare to head further north.
This year has already seen some exciting breaches, where the whale pushes itself up out of the water, and as ever there were plenty of cameras to catch the moment – especially from the Forth Marine Mammals group.
