WALKER and Arktos, Scotland’s resident polar bears, have celebrated their birthdays with treats from their keepers.

The pair, the only two polar bears in a public collection anywhere in the UK, were given specially-made ice cakes filled with their favourite foods such as carrots and sardines.

Walker and Arktos are five and six years old respectively, and reside at the Highland Wildlife Park near Aviemore.
