Energy links tie Scotland to Norway

BOTH Scotland and Norway could make a huge contribution to Europe’s green energy targets, Alex Salmond has said.

The First Minister highlighted the links between the countries on a visit to Norway. Initial work has begun on a project to join the Scandanavian and UK energy grids, which could link hydro power from Norway with wind energy from Scotland.
