Edinburgh the favourite for a white Christmas

BOOKMAKERS have slashed the odds of a white Christmas in Edinburgh this year.

The chances of the white stuff falling in Edinburgh is now said to be 2/1 according to Ladbrokes, down from 3-1 last week.

Aberdeen at 7/4 is the the bookies’ favourite to see snowfall on December 25.

There is also a 4/1 chance that this month sets a new low temperature record.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The Big Freeze is en route to the UK just at the right time, and the odds of a White Christmas are collapsing by the day.”
